Keep your dog warm, cosy, and effortlessly stylish with my beautifully handcrafted large dog coat, created from carefully repurposed wool blankets. I make each coat to your dog’s exact measurements, so you get a perfect fit that delivers comfort, practicality, and a truly one-of-a-kind finish.

I designed this coat to prioritise both warmth and durability. You can choose to add a thermal interlining for extra insulation and wind resistance, helping your dog stay comfortable even on the coldest winter walks. For the outer layer, I select 100% repurposed wool blankets, which naturally provide excellent warmth, breathability, and water-repellent properties. This thoughtful material choice also supports more sustainable shopping, giving new life to beautiful fabrics.

To enhance comfort, I line every coat with soft black polar fleece. This creates a gentle, warm layer against your dog’s fur and helps retain body heat without feeling bulky. I finish all edges with toning bias binding, ensuring a neat, smooth, and long-lasting finish. To add character and preserve the blanket’s original beauty, I incorporate the tasselled edges as a distinctive decorative trim.

I’ve also made practicality a key part of the design. Adjustable Velcro straps around the chest and tummy allow you to achieve a secure, comfortable fit while making the coat quick and easy to put on or remove. This makes it perfect for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and cosy evenings at home by the fire.
