Unlike standard dog coats, this design follows the deep chest, narrow waist, and long body of greyhounds and whippets, giving a snug fit without restricting movement.

I use soft, insulating fabrics to provide essential warmth during colder months. Every custom made greyhound blanket coat includes a plush polar fleece lining as standard. You can also choose an additional thermal interlining if you prefer extra thickness and warmth for really cold winter weather. The coat fastens securely with adjustable front and tummy straps. These make it easier to put on and take off while also ensuring a comfortable, secure fit.
On each piece I feature carefully finished edges with coordinating bias binding, adding durability and comfort with no rough edges. I also incorporate tassels from the original blanket edge as a unique design detail, giving every coat its own character. You can select from a range of colours, including carefully sourced blankets from charity shops. As well as new fabrics for a mix of sustainability and style.
I handcraft every coat in Brighton, in the UK with care and attention to detail. This design is also available as a whippet blanket coat.
To keep your coat in great condition, hand wash it with a wool-safe detergent and allow it to dry naturally on a flat surface. While you can use a wool cycle on a machine, avoid tumble drying to preserve the fabric and shape. I would recommended to close the velcro straps when washing
